    St. Andrews State Park - again - with a lizard

    As I was walking the trail to find a viewpoint for birding, I saw this little guy skittering along a tree I was passing. I decided to follow him around a while. He went way up the tree, and just as I was giving up because he was too far away, he came back down and stayed where I could remain with 4 or 5 feet for quite a while. I ended up staying with him for nearly half an hour!



    This one is actually a 2-shot focus stack, one on his head, one on his body:


    I think this shot made it worth the time following him around!


    15 minutes could save you..... Oh, never mind!


    A shot to include the entire tail. he was at least 10 inches, maybe 12, including the tail.


    I was following him in the viewfinder,and barely caught this as he started a color change. Some green, some brown.

    agreed hat 3rd shot is nice . Everytime i take out my camera when they do that they quit
