Squirrels

I FINALLY got my camera back so I went on a wildlife hunt. We're in between seasons here. Fall is over and winter has yet to begin... but all I could find were squirrels. I have to say though.. I am loving my new zoom lens. I just wish it had a faster fstop than 6.5 at max zoom but hey since Sigma was the first to produce any after market lens for the 4/3 Olympus system I guess beggars can't be choosers lol.

And last but not least... here's a squirrel that took Fattening up for the winter to be a full time job. A lesson can be learned here....somewhere.... I am sure of it lol.

Loupey - They sure are.... after that walk I came home and found your squirrel shot on the desktop.. the wife liked it that much lol.

Bevb - Mine too. He sat there for about 45 seconds and I have about 10 shots or so of him standing there like that with his head in a variety of different poses. He was almost as interested in looking at the camera, as I was in looking at him.

When shooting squirrels I turn the focus beeper "on" so that just as I get a lock they look right into the camera for the shot. and hold it just long enough for a quick manual adjustment. It was a workout learning the settings for a new lens and learning the camera again as the techs adjusted my exposure sensors to be more true and it's like a whole new camera now.

Those are some really nice shots. I know they can be a PITA with gardens but I still think they are cute. They look so neatly groomed.
