    Northern Harrier

I was able to swing around and catch this Nothern Harrier as he snuck up behind me. This was taken in October 06 at Big Island Wild Life Preserve.

Cool shot! That's closer/clearer than any harrier shot I've been able to get so far.

What's your equipment for this one?

Wow, That's a beautiful shot. Very detailed with the face. I'm new to this but first impression is awe.

    Re: Northern Harrier

First off, thanks for the comments everyone. This is a great site with awsome photos and great photo information.

I was using a Nikon D70 with the 70-200 2.8 VR and a 1.7 converter. I would call it one of those lucky shots as I just cranked away hoping I would catch at least one good shot. He snuck up on me pretty quick.
