    are those burrowing owls from aruba? if so, I had no clue they lived there.

    Yes they are.

    A lot of birds are getting endangered on Aruba because some individuals introduced some Boa Constrictors in our system some years ago. Those Boa's don't have natural enemies here and they're multiplying like crazy.

    wow that great they live there. I would think that it's quite possible that they crossed the water in a storm, but released pets is an issue too.
