    Some More MF Examples

    I'm tickled to hear/see so many of you are trying out manual focusing.

    Like everything, it just takes some practice. Really, once you get accustomed to it, I think you'll really like it and see the benefits.

    I'm still learning the in-flight stuff myself. The first 4 examples are from this morning. The last image from a few evenings ago.

    All with 300mm+2x. All not quite full frame.

    Man, I love the wings on those...the details are great.

    Yeah, I've been trying out manual focus myself...the ones I posted of Various Birds, I tried doing manual focus on some of those because the snow kept fooling my autofocus...lol. It's definitely tough, but really really awesome when you get the shot.
