    And some fishing gulls...
These were my between eagle entertainment :) Not the best bird to shoot over water on a grey, overcast day, but got some good shots anyway.

5 This guy bit off more than he could chew and dropped the fish a minute later while trying to take off.

10 A gull learning that when diving for a fish, diving into a gaggle of three other gulls is a bad idea. They will try and steal your fish when you surface.

14 One more of the gull with the large fish, since I'm superstitious and didn't want to have 13 shots in this post :)

    Thanks Eric, Dennis :)

Eric- Most of the water up here is frozen. You get pockets of open water by the dams, fishing birds like gulls and eagles are there in huge numbers. On the frozen river downstream of the dam, there had to be 1000 gulls roosting on the ice.

    Thanks Armando :)

No collision, the diving one splashed down right next to the one taking off. The dive in pretty close quarters to one another without hitting most of the time... the only collisions I saw were two gulls going after the same fish.
