    Pixilated Leaf

    The way the leaves in my back yard are changing color made me think that they looked pixilated. So tonight I finally tried to capture that look.

    Well, if you treat every cell as a coloured pixel then yes, they are pixelated !
    It's a nice demonstration of the way the green lasts longest closer to the veins in the leaf.
    I'd like to see more lower angle side lighting to bring out the texture though.

    Yeah, the first image is a little too far away to get the pixilated feeling I was after. Here is a tighter crop that I think shows it better. I also agree about the lighting, but it wasn't an option on this image. This wasn't created with a camera. It was made with a scanner so I have no way of controlling the light.
