    Blue Grosbeak

Today has been good for me. I woke up to find the first Painted Bunting to visit my yard this year. 1/2 hour later, this Blue Grosbeak came into my yard. It's a first for me! Great day!!

And another great series. You sure they aren't just doing a wardrobe change and getting free shots for their portfolios? :-) TF

Ira, thanks for my " daily fix" the Painted Bunting and Blue Grosbeak are so far superior to 99.44 percent of usual posting.
Hey, if I bring my wife down, and I cut your grass , would you let us visit your yard for a couple of days.

Oh, and I'd like a couple of photo lessons also.

Here is a few of my shots.
Rose breast swarm (8 male 3 female at once)
Hummer showed up March 25 this year.
(yeah, I've removed the cobwebs from the feeder)

Ira... these are of course outstanding, just like your Painting Bunting shots.

gotrocks... 99.54%? I think that's a little steep. There are some other pros and even some amatures on here that I would guess bring that down more to like at least 80%.

Being in the .46 percentage, I think that any picture posted here is worth looking at... even if only to get some helpful critiques and tips for improving.

    Dear SARtech,

I agree with your reply to my post. I had the old Ivory soap slogan in mind when I said 99 44/100 percent. That's what the claim was... 99 44/100 percent pure.
(Sorry Ira, but it's only 56/100 short of 100 percent):blush2:
Yes I do enjoy many of the other pictures, but still feel that my quality is so far from many of the others here that I feel guilty taking up space with most of my pictures.

PS I appreciate your pictures and comments.
I think we were in Joliet in 2006 at your beautiful Rialto.
    Did I get that right?
I know it's not level, but the bus was ready to leave so I just shot on the run.
