The Shy & The Not so shy!

Toping up the feeders this morning i looked up to see the Heron passing over, he makes this trip at the usual time most mornings, he suddenly turned to the right and decided to make a landing on one of the roofs in the next street approxmately 300metres, got the camera and took a few shots, not great quality and the weather very grey but one for album!

About 30 mins later the pair of sparrowhawks made an appearance, the female making a failed attempt at the bird table, and the male taking off into the fir tree about 120meters down the road, again not the best quality pic but couldnt resist it.

    Canon 1D MKllN - 100-400L.

That's a nice habitat shot of the sparrow hawk.
