    Robins/Waxwings/Blue-jay/Unknown
It’s been so long since I’ve seen a robin, I kind of forgot what they look like (I thought I found something else). I’ve never seen them this bright before. And oh yeah… my third day in a row seeing waxwings!

I have no idea what this bird is, and this isn’t a very good shot for ID purposes… this was a get it before it goes shot, and then it went. The bird was just a little bigger than a titmouse.

You probably know this, but did you know that the Cedar Waxwing is vulnerable to alcohol intoxication and death after eating fermented fruit . Good Captures :)

The top two look almost like paintings...very pretty!

I'm soooooooooo jealous that you're seeing cedar waxwings. No clue on that other bird...it's pretty though!

Thanks Knight, I didn't know that about the waxwings until earlier today when I found a website about them.

Thank you Julsoph, it took a while to see them... I still can't believe that I've seen so many in the past few days.

And thank Big Baldo, I think the light shining off the snow might have something to do with how bright they look. Still, I've never seen them so bright before. When I saw the bright orange color in the tree's, I was really hoping they might be towhee's.

Here is an image of one that was back-lit, not quite as bright as the other shot's.

And here is a tighter crop of the unknown bird... could it be a thrush, a veery thrush maybe? I would really like to know what this bird is.
