    Red Eye

    I peaked out the window to check the bird feeders this morning, and this is what I found. I managed to sneak around the side of the house and get a couple shots before he took off.

    Wonderful lighting--and everything else.
    Feet are in a strange position, though. You sure you didn't have this guy tied down?

    Hmm, in the second one the hawk looks somewhat puffed up...? Like, "here I come little squirrel, you're never going to escape"...

    Thanks everyone. I love seeing these guys at the feeders, but I'm sure the finches, sparrows and squirrels think otherwise.

    Nice shots Mike, he does seem to have a problem with the leg that is exposed.
