RAW Cows II
Here is another one from the D30 RAW files. The last time I coverted this all I had was the Canon RAW utility. It was pathetic. I used CS for this.

Nice! You might want to brighten it a bit more and open the shadows a bit? The file may look a bit noisy in the shadows if you print after opening the shadows though?

I have CSII and here is a quick edit to show you what I mean
+.67 exposure
open shadows 10%
noise ninja (profiled your image) to reduce noise and sharpen a wee bit
remember... this is a quick edit of a JPEG... RAW would be way better :)
I am maybe 1 step infront of you when it comes to editing, so bear with my crude attempt ;)

I like both your cow shots, Almo. :) I will be of no help at all as far as editing, but as IS, I like the textures...the horns, snout and even the little rolls on the body are really great. Also the expression is terrific on this one.
