    Rats With Wings

Beautiful birds. Too bad they are so nasty.

But then again, is there such a thing as a clean bird?

    ;-)

Also, I need an ID on the third bird. I think it's a member of the willet family, but I'm not a birder. It was walking and feeding in a retention pond.

All these shots were taken with my F5 and 80-200mm f 2.8. The first two were scanned by ASAP photo, the third one by my local photo lab, and the difference in quality of the scan really shows here.

That last ine is a "yellow legs" whether it's a greater or lesser YL is a mystery to me. I have trouble even when I see then sometimes(due to the fact that I hate shorebird watching in general)
