Is this a captive fox, because they are very very shy of humans. I love the pose on this!

Yes very cool!!!! As much time as I spend in the outdoors, I have never seen a fox other than running by. Great capture!

Further proof that you are the guru, Paul. Not only can you tell us what the animal is, you can tell us where it got its picture taken. This one is from the Tallahasee Museum http://www.tallahasseemuseum.org/index.cfm, which has a nice, very natural, animal park. In fact, it might be the most natural "zoo" setting I've ever seen -- basically, they fence off large tracts of land. A number of the inhabitants are truly wild. I have a few other shots to post eventually.

I've seen a fox twice on the golf course (a pair actually) and once while driving at 2:00 am. My wife phtographed one alongside the street adjacent to ours, but this is my first ever pic. It was a captive fox in a natural setting, but still pretty exciting for me.
