the Power of Mother Nature

Returning home from 70 - 80 (23 - 27C) degree temperatures into the low 20's (-1 - -12 C) sucks. But there is beauty in teh cold.

This is a shot from the low bridge over Hamilton Harbour in Hamilton Ontario. We took the low bridge due to high winds on the SkyWay and the fact that we had a cargo carrier on teh roof of our already top heavy SUV.

We were driving just ahead/under the leading edge of the front that is currently dumping close to an inch / hour of snow on us as I type this. The cloud formations were stunning so I had to take a few shots. Although they are out the window and at about 30 mph I think I did a decent job of "freezing" the moment (pardon the unintended pun).

I think you captured the scene as best it could have been from a moving vehicle. Now where are those warm weather images ;)
