    Skinky Predicament

    Thinking my shooting was done for this evening, I left the fields and I immediately came upon this fellow visible from the road in an elementary school yard.

    It was really getting dark so I had to take the 2x off and go closer with the 300mm. Don't know what their "effective range" is so I was ready to run at any sign of trouble
