Pheasant and Kite

Out on a walk once i bumped into a chap in our area who has birds of prey, ones he has rescued from people that thought that they would make good pets!!! he has done a great job in travelling far and wide trying to rehabilitate some of these birds, but alas some have become too domesticated and he flys them not too far from me, i was lucky to meet him and Katie Kite,who was badly injured and malnurished when he was asked to take her in she is healthy and ""happy"" now. and i came across these images today searching through my photo files. The other two shots are of a pheasant who decided to pop its head up and then take flight on my way home.

Good stuff Bev. My favorite is the one peeking up from the grass. I could see the pheasant flying used in a hunting mag, or similar.
