I have no idea why I've titled this post that way. Could be I'm punchy from too much caffeine and too little sleep. Got up at 3:15 today and went to the coast for sunrise. I had planned to do this, but basically slept about 3 hours so was pretty rough. Ordione Point was once a military installation (part of the coastal defense network in WW2), but is now a state park & science center with acres of rocky beach, saltmarsh and woodland. It's been one of my favorite places in the state and a precious part of our tiny 18-mile coastline (thanks a HEAP Maine & Massachusetts, you think you got a fair deal?).![]()
All done w/the E-30, ZD 12-60mm, CPL & ancient Bogen tripod. I was not in the groove today, but I'm happy with the results anyway. The light was pretty spectacular.
