Not so ugly ducklings!

Caught these little cuties parading themselves around at a reservoir near home.

Nice shots Bev. You weren't saying they may be mean were you? Because baby waterfowl aren't mean.

No, in fact i mean the opposite, these birds were too friendly! i was concerned how the children that were ithere were in touching distance, chasing, and trying to pick them up, i was worried for the ducklings, and being such a huge nature reserve the wardens/staff are'nt always in view. I like to see birds like this on their guard and human aware, i could quite likely see someone walking off with these beautiful birds.
