    Not the most exotic bird.......
    I was out messing around yesterday, and caught this seagull posing. Interested to hear what you think.

    Birds should not be in B&W! I have a hard enough time identifying them in color :D

    I like the image, but animals just do not seem right in B&W (not counting pets).

    Sorry Copy. Here's the original, uncropped image. It just seemed to me that with the only saturated colors being in the background, BW was a better option as it doesn't lead the eye away from the subject.

    I definitely like the colour version better. The colours in the bkgnd provide the contrast necessary to set the bird off in the shot or "make it pop" as we so often say around here. Besides the blur you've achieved with you DOF is excellent.. show it off by leaving it in colour.
