Shadow Fun

I've always wanted to get a big spider version of this shot. But, I tried to make due with a beetle (actually the female of the pair I just posted in the Procreation Thread) walking up the center of this leaf.

I thought it was funny as it looked like its shadow is climbing up the vein of the leaf.

These red beetles are everywhere! Still at it. I couldn't help myself. Anyway, trying to use the harsh lighting to my benefit. I really should carry some reflectors with me.

The first one here I put in the Critique Forum for comedic relief up there.

pretty nice, but I think a reflector would be a good idea
