On the way home from riding with friends over the weekend, I stopped at Camp Helen State Park, which I'd not visited before. I saw, but was not quick enough to photograph, several rabbits along the trail. What I did get was this butterfly, which I think is a female pipeline swallowtail.

When resting on the flower, the hind wings would lay open and flat, but the fore wings kept flapping, resulting in a blur in many shots, like this:

I'd not seen a butterfly that didn't actually rest while at rest. If you see what I mean.
