    Ha, thanks Knight, my usual set up, Sony A-100/90mm Tamron macro lens. These were extremely close captures further cropped and edited in Aperture software.:) Its always sort of a trade off when I shoot dragons, The eyes will be in sharp focus, but the "neck"/body/thorax always get blurred, or vise versa, I'm still learning to shoot in manual to correct these issues, DOF mastery is a must (obvious) when I shoot this close.:D

    Well the detail certain is there. I do feel that the crops are too tight. It's a tough balance - a more dramatic composition would be OK with such closeups. Otherwise, extreme closeups for the sake of extreme closeups isn't for me.

    Keep experimenting and posting. Nice to see different angles.
