New Arrival - Cedar Waxwings

The mulberries are maturing and the waxwings have just arrived. They hardly stay at all so I'm glad I got them before they disappeared.

It's cute how the pairs will pass the mulberries back and forth. Must be part of their courtship ritual. Or they're both too full :p

Lovely birds - I love how sleek their feathers look. Reminds me of penguin feathers.

Not much of a songster though. Reminds me of a bad brake job :p
