Re: My first attempt at digiscoping
Some color fringes and looks kind of dark. Is it possible for you to adjust the camera settings?
Re: My first attempt at digiscoping
It very hard to adjust settings since everything has to be manual
Re: My first attempt at digiscoping
Thanks for sharing this.
Personally, I'd love to see more with this technique. I know it is very common among birders (those who are more interested with birding than photography) and I think there are birders who frequent this site but don't post anything who use this technique.
Re: My first attempt at digiscoping
Here is my setup with the E510, it is very difficult to get a good shot, conditions such as sun light and no wind is a must also you have to use a shutter release and it would help if the bird would freeze for 3 seconds

Re: My first attempt at digiscoping
digiscoping is very hard to do in most cases , so you did quite well.
I have played around with the SWAROVSKI 80ED, PENTAX 80MM and leica 77mm a few times with my fuji finepix circa 2005? and mounted the Canon XTI on the 80mm for a friend. Very hard to get good images in less than perfect lighting in most cases.
