I did make a mistake that I caught too late. I was shooting at ISO 800 + EV .3 to.7 and in my excitment, did not catch that until it was too late(home), HENCE THE NOISY pictures...

Normally, I would have shot these at ISO 100 for the conditions of the day I was in...I will be going back this evening hoping the crane is still there and get some pictures with good detail....

Great images!! I believe that is a Great Blue Heron. You can tell by the black on their wings in #5 and the way they retract their neck a bit when they fly.

Great pictures! Yes, definitely a Great Blue Heron. I love the Herons and Egrets and have shot many rolls of Kodachrome of them over the years.
