    That sure is an unusual side of the slug that you captured there.

    My favorite is #3 as you got a second fellow in the background. The DOF is a touch shallow.

    I bet you're wishing for a little more working distance by now - unless you're getting used to being so close to these hairy/slimy/crunchy creatures :p If you're ever looking for another good multi-purpose lens, I recommend the 85mm f/1.8 or 100mm f/2 to use with tubes.

    Thanks Loupey i was trying to get the eye of the slug more focused but it was quite windy yesterday and i got the wobbles, and i would never of thought i would get the "bug" (so to speak) on photographing sometimes weird and yet wonderful little creatures, its great fun!

    Yes the 100mm has been catching my attention!!

    These are great Bev, I love that red beetle!

    I started a thread about reversing a 50mm lens for macro's because I didn't want to hijack this one... it's just another option for your lens.
