    A couple captives from reptilefest

the Chicago Herpetological society's annual Reptilefest show was last weekend, and although I spent most of my time in journalist mode with a 28mm, I did strap on the macro for a while.

Can't decide if I should fix the highlights on this shot. Are they distracting, or do they just make the frog look shiny?

frog looks fine to me, just shiny. the catch lights in that crocadillians eye are pretty distracting though.

Those are the coolest looking frogs! I'd love to steal one for a few hours

You did well considering it must have been pretty tough shooting (lots of lights, light colored rug reflections, probably lots of people around).

Wonderful shots, you must have had a blast there. I think the highlights on the frog don't really detract from the shot but just make it look shiny as you say.
