    Momma Hawk Tending her Nest...

    UPDATE:
    No baby hawks yet. Found mom returning to the nest.
    Watching her fluff her breast feathers to cover the egg/s was pretty cool.
    My plan is to check back in a week to see if there are baby hawks.

    Nice captures! Why can't birds build their nest with out sticks in the way of a lens??

    Beautiful size nest for a Hawk...Redtail Hawk?

    Yes, Redtail Hawk. That seems to be the only variety in this area for some reason. Maybe they chase the other smaller hawks away?
