Moab whiptail
After driving 83 miles from Moab to the Needles district of canyonlands NP This was the only wildlife that I saw, it was hiding under a rock at a road side museum/zoo/trading post trying to stay out of the seering 105 degree temps.

Great pictures. Did you hike/photo any of the Needles?
105!?! Wow. I'm heading to UT for an 8 day 7 night Kayak trip down the Green River thru Canyonlands starting July 4th. Looks like I need to bring extra sun screen, haha

Yes definitly bring a big hat a lots of sunscreen, right now I am in Torrey, it is only 89 here.
I can't really do any hiking, I have a really bad knee.
