    Mircat

    Hello All,

Just thought I would share this. It was taken with my Nikon D50, Focal length 200mm, Exposure 1/500, F5.6. Mircat-mircat.jpg

What an excellent shot! i love the angle that you have caught it from. If this is in the wild, what a privialige, the only way i get to see these fascinating, often comical animals is on wildlife programmes on the tele!

Nice to see something other than the meerkat standing to attention looking cute pose.
But the focus seems to be on what it's sitting on ?

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the focus is on the rock. It wasn't supposed to be I am new to the autofocus world. I used to shoot with an old Minolta X-700. I now have the Nikon D50 and I believe it is set to focus on the closet object. I need to change the focus mode.

I also agree about the pose. Thanks again.
