    Pittsburgh Zoo

Went to the pittsburgh zoo with a photo group the other day... .it was chilly and overcast, which was good cause the animals were active. i was fighting with it being to dark all day, and had to boost my iso way higher than i would have liked.

i was also testing out my new tc 1.7X on my 70-200 2.8 so alot of these shots are 340mm at 4.8. all are full frame with minimal to no PP work.

what do you think? i liked number 1 the best at the start, but now the last one is growing on my the most. the gorilla one is pretty good to.

number 1 is shot looking straight down on a ray, you can see its two heads, and the focus point was on top of the head ( you can see the pores? in that area of skin) i wish i had had just a tad higher f stop to get the whole surface in that much detail. shot with my 60mm macro.
