That is an awesome shot! Another bird I have never seen in the wild!

Looks like you caught him during an eye blink with that 3rd membrane showing in the eye.

That's curious Eric, they are all over here.

I really enjoy watching them play tag team with Max. One will entice him away from his food bowl and another will swoop in for a snatch..

Not really a fan of "bird on ground against grass background" but I felt the "blink" was post worthy

Burst of two, one with and one without the membrane.
