Mad ducks and an English woman!

Went out on a photographing long tail tit mission yesterday, but it started blowing a hooley! so nothing was able to stay in one place for second let alone those tiny birds, so passing the lake in the park i noticed the ducks were having a mad half hour, ducking and diving, shooting across the lake then disappearing under water, it was quite an amusing sight, and one one occasion i swore i heard this little female mallard say something!!:aureola:

Once again some fine photographs! I particularly like the second of the mallard angling up out of the water.

They're all great as usual Bev. I'm with DRG on the second image... the last one made me smile.

My favourite would be the third one, she seems to be really enjoying herself. The last one is great also, and the caption fits nicely!
It reminds me of one I have of some merganzers..I've been meaning to put a caption on it as well. With the temperatures near minus 30 cel. and windchills below -40 I believe I'll do that after work today. Thanks for the reminder!
