    Macro's
Just some bugs from today. Considering they were taken with wind gusts of up to 2000mph  I’m okay with the way they turned out. They were all taken with Kenko tubes, 1.4X TC, and 300mm (in that order).

A good job done Copy considering the strong winds, its the same here but now with heavy rain, very frustrating.

#3 & 5 are very sharp and with great detail nice work.
im going to have to try using the 1.4TC as i have'nt used it before for macro

    Thank you Bev and Knight.

Bev, your 1.4X TC should work out nicely for macro's. I think most people only use them to get some extra reach for far away objects, not really utilizing them to their fullest.

Copy, you probably already know this, but you'll get more magnification if you go TC+Tubes+Lens.

Nice images - I like the bee shot (second to last).

Glad to see that you are utilizing everything out of that 300mm. A great lens, eh?! :)

Thanks Loupey, and yes... but I didn't figure that out until after, wasn't thinking (lol). The 300mm f/4L IS USM is an awesome lens, well worth every cent.
