    Lucky shot

    I was walking to work later than normal this morning when a squawking in my ear made me look to my right. I spotted this guy and his friend happily chatting away. incidentally this is cropped a bit but they were so close I used my 18-55 which is lucky as I didn't have anything longer. Initially they were a little scarred of me but then Ignored me and continued on as if I wasn't there. I did take a couple more but I was already late so couldn't really wait to see if they would pose better for me.

    Wow! Something we definitely don't run into on our walks over here. Unless it's through a pet store

    I'm only able to see birds like that at the zoo here... hmmm, England or Australia ... it's a great image and you are very lucky to have such beautiful wild birds there.
