    South Texas Carnivores

I spent four days in the lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas last week. Two of the days had atrocious weather, but I still got a lot of great pictures. In fact, I got so many that I wasn't sure how to post them on here. I finally weeded them down into four categories.

    South Texas Carnivores
    South Texas Cuteness
    South Texas Waders
    South Texas Birds

So the first installment is today, "South Texas Carnivores." Five shots.

    1) Coyote. Canon T3, Canon 400mm, ISO800, f5.6, 1/1600, from car.

    2) Coyote. Canon T3, Canon 400mm, ISO400, f5.6, 1/250, handheld.

    3) Crested Caracara. Canon T3, Canon 400mm, ISO400, f5.6, 1/2500, handheld.

    4) Alligator. Canon T3, Canon 400mm, ISO800, f5.6, 1/1000, braced on boardwalk railing.

    5) Alligator. Canon T3, Canon 400mm, ISO800, f5.6, 1/800, braced on boardwalk railing.

Comments and critique are welcome. Thanks.
