    little brown job

There are so many species that are little and brown.
    Any idea what this is?
    My guess is a wheatear.

    P.S. I need a longer lens.
This is with 1DmkIIN and 300 f/2.8 with 1.4x, cropped about 1/2 the image.

Tail feathers are right, but I can't see the characteristic white rump.

I am not that familiar with european birds, but that looks like a wheatear to me too.
