    Great Blue Herons

    They were back in the tree Sunday
    It was cloudy and overcast for my whole shift except for abut an hour when the sun was trying to pop through. Wishing the sky was deeper blue, but...






    I concentrated on one this time.






    "Craneing" his neck.






    Finally... take off!






    Dang these guys are large.

    Thanks so much Bob! I don't recall anyone calling my pictures "superb" yet. That's really cool.
    Yes, this place is a goldmine and a stress buster to boot. I am so lucky to have it.

    Super series. I have yet to get a shot of a GBH that I really like. However, I like yours.
