    Limpkin

    Limpkin......these birds can only be found in the state of Florida. They are found in swamps and marshes but I also now see them in urban areas as well.

    Not so sure but I think Ive seen one in Mexico. I dont usually look on birds or fish as I shoot some extraordinary happenings on nature. My gear cant catch like that though. Its Nikon L120

    A beautiful shot, Eric! I've never heard of a Limpkin. It looks quite heron-like. Does it behave like a heron?

    Not really....they only eat snails for the most part.

    Very nicely shot. A report of a vagraint came in a few years ago... hehehe, the call heard ended up being a feral peacock

    Wow! That enormous bill just for eating little snails? That's amazing. Thanks for the info, Eric. I always like to know as much as I can about the birds I'm seeing.
