    A leaf

I haven't ever really done a whole lot of Macro stuff. But have an extention tube come for the old Oly. So I hope to start doing more like this. What do you think? Is the composition just to over done?

    Re: A leaf

Great! Then you're on your way into a whole new, wonderful world.

Personally I love looking for and shooting shots like these. To me, they never get old.

I would say here that your choice of leaf isn't the best. The veins aren't very interesting and the directions that they go are actually distracting. The curvature of the leaf also takes the leaf out of the DOF.

Just some of the things you'll learn about macro shooting. You'll find out soon enough

Hope you'll stick around here not only to learn but to teach as well.

    What's a Loupe for anyway?
