    Le Mans 24h
    At dawn on Sunday
Yes I meant so post them here, as there is a bit of nature in portrait car-with-landscape shot :)

Paul, you can post anything you want here.... I say so :D

Too bad about that car in the frame , but I like that foggy landscape!

    Thanks Paul.
I waited until I could get a shot with the monopod and 100-400, as dawn came I realised I really needed the tripod but I had left it back in the UK. No way was I lugging that around on my back for 24 hours !
I wish there was something more in that landscape for a subject, but I like the pastel tones in the sky ...yes, yes I know the horizon is centred but I don't get the right feel from the trees if I crop from the bottom and I lose the rosy pink if I crop from the top.

    Paul,

Some photo's need the horizon to be centred - rules are just guidelines waiting for the exception and for me this is the exception.

Knowing where it is adds to the tranquility with a burst of racing car flitting through and the smell of burning rubber and petrol - Yes I used to be a petrol head before taking up sailing (Rallying in the Welsh hills and forests).

    Nicely captured.

    Thanks, Roger.
We'd slept out at Tetre Rouge through the night, waiting for this.
Then Angie didn't wake me up before dawn as she thought I needed the sleep.
I still like this one though.
It's on the way to the printer now, see what it looks like on Ilford Classic Pearl :)
