    Labor Day Weekend Macros
Took advantage of this past holiday weekend to do some hiking and shooting. The winds were rather troublesome for macro shooting but the bugs were abundant and rather randy.

Some spots were just so fragrant that it was nice just sitting there in the sun and breeze.

First three shots with some lovin' in the air...

And the various "miscellaneous" macros/closeups that I happened to come across.

#2 is a green stink bug
    #4 is a squash bug

    Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous shots, Loupey. I like the peeking snake at the end there!

Paul, I can't tell if you're kidding or not :p You should know better than to ask me for a reptile ID :D

I see them all the time at this stream. Most are small but I did see some garter-sized ones in the summer. This one was smaller than most and it actually hid entirely under that leaf when I got too close. Maybe I can find better a ID shot from earlier in the summer.
