    This is an, until recently, completely unknown behaviours with Mallards. This is similar to synchronized swimming but in the bird world it is the equivalent of "Flipping the Bird" to the photographer.

    In a recent interview with some mallards one was overheard saying "Watch this, I am gonna show that photographer what I really think of him" immediately before showing his but.
