    This is all you got?!?

Haven't been able to get out to the fields in a while

But I did manage to almost run over this guy yesterday while mowing. He came shooting out and nearly gave me a heart attack. Then, 5 seconds later, his brother did the same thing. Yes, I did look back to see if their sister didn't make it out in time

About the size of my fist. So cute - on the one hand, I thought how much my daughter would like to see them; on the other hand, I thought how "my hawks" would love to give chase to either one

Before you ask, no - I don't mow with a camera around my shoulder. But I did have to go back to the truck where I do keep it

Sorry not much. On the last image I was playing around to see if I can make an exception to the "focus on the eyes" rule. Nah, I think I need something with more texture to pull that off.

awwww.... hawk bait. Did you catch em so you can let those poor mice rest?

Good job, and I don't think the "exception" shot is bad at all. It's certainly different, and that alone makes it nice.

I think they are great Loupey, even though the rabbit is looked upon similarly to the squirrel in photography (common and an easy subject) i think they make great subjects some of the famous wildlife photographer Andy Rouse's best photographs are of rabbits.

The second one is great, like the reflection caught of you and someone else (going on the hat) in its eye.

I took similar ones of these on my recent hols, when my dog found one nibbling behind a stump, it squeeled then froze on the spot, i took my shots then my husband gently touched it and off it went.
