    Knight, you asked for them!

Here are just a few more, from the next morning. It stayed cloudy, but worked out pretty well. They arrived at the same spot at the same time we arrived. We didn't see them in the field when we were approaching, but then I saw them flying in, probably from a roosting area. It was perfect timing. We got there at the same time. I only took a couple shots, because they would have been pretty much the same as the day before. Then, they flew off and landed about 100 yards away. This gave us the perfect opportunity for shots in a better environment.

This will be the end of my Whooping Crane shots. However, it was an exciting time. Normally, I would never post so many photos of the same birds, but these birds are so rare and will never be seen by the majority of the population, I was hoping it would be appreciated.

Talk about asking and receiving Looks like the first one was giving you a good stare down lol Guess these guys are being tracked by the gizmos on their legs. Just wondering here do they nest like a Heron?

I just had to stop back today to see if I could get something different. Here is a shot of one watching a hawk fly by. They sure don't miss anything in the air.

I just discovered that uploading to Flickr and then adding a frame and resaving to 800 X ***, costs me sharpness. No more fancy frames for me.

Well, that's enough whoopers for me. I just got a lead on a coyote den that I'll be checking whenever I get the chance.
