Isla Isabel

In a couple of days I'm off to an Island 40 miles from shore, on the pacific ocean, it is a national park, there are plenty of fragates, bobbie birds, iguanas, and opportunities to snorkel. Maybe some whale watching ...

The Island has about 50 permanent inhabitants, a fishing village, they gladly cook fresh fish for the visitors

I'll be there with a group of photographers, we'll be camping for a couple of nights

I'll bring along the D300 with:
3 batteries
a few cf cards
70-300 zoom - mostly for bif shots
18-200 zoom - general purpose walking around, the birds nest on the cliffs which are reachable by foot and it's easy to get really close to the nests
11-16 zoom - landscapes along with the nd filter, hopefully some night shots of the stars
35mm prime - low light shots
tripod

Also I'll see if I can borrow an under water p&s camera
