    Inspired by Loupey

Loupey's hawks inspired me to get out while it wasn't snowing to try to find some (hawks). This is what I found instead... not exactly the aerodynamic bird of prey that I was after

Edit- I don't believe my luck, I go out and drive around for a few hours and didn't see a single hawk. This was taken about fifteen minutes ago in my backyard. Just very quick p/p has been done to the image... It is really dark out now and I wish the images would have turned out a little better in-camera, hopefully I can follow Erik's tutorial correctly.

    Thank you for looking.

Thank you Bev, when I saw the hawk I ran for my camera and very surprisingly didn't trip over anything lol, yes it was very good feeling The other birds are wild turkey's, I've seen over fifty of them gathered together before and some people around here say they have seen flocks of over a hundred.

    Re: Inspired by Loupey

Thanks Paul... and for the ID on the hawk, every time I see a hawk I just assume it's a red-tail. Unfortunately all of the hawk images are too dark or blurry for my limited p/p skills (it's hard to focus when it's snowing). Hopefully he or she will be back soon.

Great going, Copy. That last one is great and I like the three-in-a-row.

So you were able to get out?! I did hear on the radio yesterday that your area ended up with 8 feet of snow from this last storm system. I can just imagine "mole tunnels" emminating from everyone's houses Stay safe and warm.

    What's a Loupe for anyway?

Thank you Loupey, this never ending storm has been incredible. Yesterday they said we can expect another four feet before it's all it's over... I've been wanting to change carriers for some time now and it looks like Mother Nature has finally put that in motion
