    One from yesterday ( Ruffed Grouse).

    Think this is a Grey morph version of a ruffed Grouse. he was really drumming up a storm for the lady's . I could not catch any of the drumming in a photo as i did not have enough light to stop his wing movement.

    Thanks for taking the time Loupey, They kinda run away fast and as a last resort to escape they can take flight right in the middle of very thick bush.

    Tufcat, Paul,Mike thanks for your kind words. Now if i can get my new camera ( D80) and the weather clears up, im gonna try to post on a regular basis again . its been a long winter here
