    Good morning Kristine,
May I say that I've enjoyed all of your most recent pictures.
Now I've put you in my 99 44/100 (Ivory soap pure) ranks. :D

Thank you for all of your delightful pictures.

    Norris

May I share an oldie, taken 1972 with a old 35mm pentax.
Do you recognize this one? Had never heard of BIF way back then.
The nest was in the tree and I've got a pic of the eggs somewhere.

That is actually a Lincoln's sparrow.

They are very similar to the song sparrows, but have more buff-colouring on the chest and thinner stripes.

Good shot of it too. Cloning out the branch behind its head will make this even better. :)

Well, thanks gotrocks. And yes, I think that's like one of those herons I shoot. Unfortunately, I won't be getting any more of those other than a couple I haven't posted yet from last week because some jealous sad person saw me taking pictures out there and went to the GM. My boss then told me I can't shoot out there anymore. People really suck sometimes.

Alex... thanks for the ID and below is the shot minus the branch.
